Hitachi NR83A2 Round Head 2-Inch to 3-1/4-Inch Framing Nailer Review

Hitachi makes some great nailers for sure, an example of which is the Hitachi NT65MA2 1 finish nailer, and the expectations are same from this framing nailer too. Its ability to fire plastic-collated full round head framing nails from 2" to 3-1/4" means you're getting the job done faster at an amazing three-nails-per-second which is truly amazing. Although this not the lightest nailer, its nice balance ensures that the weight isn’t really a detriment.

The Hitachi NR83A2 features open nose design that allows for easy extraction of a jammed nail, the grip on the nailer is very comfortable ensuring the nailer doesn’t slip off. The only complaint with this nailer is when you are nailing off with 8s, the 2nd clip will often ride up on the 1st clip, causing a jam, which is annoying when you are trying to go fast. Framers, roofers and truss builders will really get their money's worth out of this workhorse.
